Hey Cruise Chat. Im new to this forum and i was wondering if anyone else was going on the spring break March 28th Liberty of the seas cruise. Im a Diamond member with RCCL but i have never beeen on the Freedom Class. How is it, is it good for my 15 year old son? Sorry for the questions im just exceited for the Freedom Class.
I am also a diamond member, but regardless of C&A status the Freedom class of ships are amazing and fun. The Liberty is a great ship and you will love it. These ships are really "super sized" versions of the Voyager class, the extra space being for the Flowrider and the H20 Zone pool area. Our son is 14 and had a superb time on both the Freedom and the Liberty Of The Seas.
Oh ok thanks for the response Dave Beers. I loved the Voyager class i went on the Mariner i believe it was 4 times and the Voyager 1 time. I thought they were great but i finally decided to "upgrade" .
Oh yea i forgot to ask, for everyone that has been on this ship or any Freedom class ship was there anything you didnt like about it, and what was the best part?
Thanks
I was on the Freedom twice, the Liberty once, and next week I'll be on the Independence. So far, I can't find anything I don't like. The fresh water pools are a nice touch. The H2O Zone keeps most of the kids out of the pools. The Flowrider is a lot of fun to watch.
We've been on Liberty and Independence. We've enjoyed both of them. As Sonny stated, the flowrider is fun (to watch LOL), we've enjoyed the minuature golf and the ice shows...ah heck, we love everything about them..LOL!

We loved the Liberty. The only draw back I could see was more people than the Voyager class, about the same number of elevators. We tend to take the stairs, but for those who don't care to or can't there was always congestion by the elevator bays. Everything else is fabulous.
