If I had an hour of free time, I could write a horror story of what's been going on in our lives the last six months. WE ARE IN SERIOUS NEED OF A VACATION! I am watching your clock! We'll be easy to spot on that ship. We'll be the couple that are wiped out and passed out on the nearest pool-side lounge chairs.

I'll be the one with a mojito in one hand a mai tai in the other. Or mai tai in one hand and a margarita in the other.


Can't wait to visit the Windjammer and Viking Lounge - my two favorite places on Mariner of The Seas.

Do the Mariner and the Enchantment have the same bar names? I don't drink much. One drink and I'm dancing on the table. Guess I don't have the tolerance level most do. I just want somebody to wake me in time to eat, go ashore, and do a little gaming in the casino.

From looking at the 2005-2006 Royal Caribbean Vacation Planner booklet, it looks like most of their ships share the same themed bars and lounges - Viking Crown Lounge, Schooner Bar, Boleros Lounge, Champagne Bar.

I spent some nights at the Dragons Lair bar/disco on Mariner. I don't' see anything listed on the Enchantment by the same name. Also see a bar listed on the Enchantment called the Carousel Lounge at the back of the ship. I don't think Mariner had one of those at its tail end besides the Windjammer cafe.

Anyway, look forward to exploring the ship. Hope to find a nice quite place with a great view and enjoy a dram of single malt scotch.

Hey lori, I didn't even know there were refurbishments. So, it'll all look the same to me. lol.... You tell me what it used to look like and I'll bring pictures of the latest view. Maybe I'll bring a pic of Khona dancing the night away in the disco. lol

Hey Joarkn, if you are curious you can check out the refurbishments on RCI website. Go to the top tab called "Find a Cruise", then click on "ships", then scroll down till you find vision class and click on Enchantment. Then all the stats about her will come up. Click on "see what's new", and all the refurb stuff will come up. It looks sooo cool. That is one reason I wanted to book on her. I don't think many, if any, of the other ships have had these certain refurbs. They lengthened her, cut her in half and added more ship. She has alot of cool looking bridges added to her. I am sooo excited. Enjoy! Lil' Lori
