Weather in September?

Our cruise is Sept. 18 and I was wondering if I need to plan on packing some warmer clothing. Any tips. We are going to Jamica and the Cayman Islands.

September is one of the hotest months in Jamaica and Grand Cayman with average daily temps in the high 80s and low 90s. You might get a little rain (especially in Ocho Rios in the afternoon) but other than that, HOT!

I would make sure to pack extra sunscreen, rather than warm clothes. Tom, is right - The weather should be absolutely toasty for you.

We are leaving from Miami and you?
But it seems that we are sailing the same route (Labadee, Jamica,Georgetown and Mexico) Western Caribean...

I'LL bet your glad your not leaving on Sep. 4th or 5th. It will be interesting to see what happens on these 2 sailing dates. Ft. lauderdale and Miami have a lot of cruises leaving those 2 days and it looks like FRANCES IS COMING. I hope not but it will ruin a vacation for a lot of us if it does.Good luck to all.

@OutToSea: I'm glad to hear from you! We are no veteran cruiser . It's our first cruise, too. So we are very excited and counting the days until sept 17 (we are leaving home one day bevore and stay in Miami one night) How about you?
