Ensenada

Has anyone been to Ensenada. Mexico? And if so what can you tell me about the port. We will be disembarking there from the Legend of the Seas and wonder if we will have time for any sightseeing before we take the bus to San Diego.

Hi,

I'm from San Diego and I say skip it. There really isn't that much to see down there. The only thing that is maybe worth seeing, but I can't speak from experience is the set where the Titanic was filmed. But other than that you will be in Mexico and while I love the caribbean side of Mexico, Baja, except for Cabo, tends to be poverty sticken. San Diego on the other hand has tons of stuff to do. It would be nice if you had a few days here. Have fun what ever you decide.

Ensenada is a poor and deprived mexican area. Besides the occasionnal 'bordelos', the popular 'party house' and the expensive souvenir shops with little diversity, the port is quite dirty and the activities are nil.
