Greetings All and Merry Christmas~

We just surprised the children w/ our 4/11/2008 cruise this morning.

This will probably be the last "big" family vacation we'll all be going on as our eldest will soon be off to college. They're ages 16, 11.5 and 10.

Does anyone have any input on fun things to do for Labadee, San Juan, St. Thoms, Dom Rep?

Thanks very much....This will be the first cruise that we're taking the children on!!

Merry Christmas back to you. Wow, now that is a GREAT Christmas gift to all!! I don't know about the other stops but I can tell you that we loved the Labadee stop. Lots of fun stuff to do. I would personally reserve the zip line as everyone is old enough and then there are the jet skis, the parasail, the offshore racing boat, etc!! So, just thumb through the description and let the kids pick what they want to do. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Hello SaraT, welcome to Cruise-Chat! Wow! what a great Christmas present! I'm sure you'll get many replies to your post with some great excursion suggestions. Last year at this time I took my grandchildren, ages: 13, 10, and 7 years old. They liked jet skiing in Lababee. Now there is a zipline which would be even more exciting. In San Juan, we took them to the fort, did some shopping, and spend some time at the pools on the ship. St. Thomas was a day at Coki beach which was a fantastic day. There's so much for the kids to do on the ship. They'll have a time of their life. My wife and I will be cruising the same time you are. Which ship are you going on?

Hi Bruce and Sonny~

I think Labadee will be my favorite stop! I know my eldest will want to do the zip line and hubby and another will want to do the jet skis. My daughter and I will be the ones relaxing on the beach mats

I didn't mention that my mother-in-law and sis-in-law are joining us! We were able to book a cabin adjacent to the children.

We'll be aboard the Explorer out of Bayonne (or Cape Liberty, as that sounds better). Sonny, are you and your wife traveling on EOS?

We will be on the Navigator out of Ft. Lauderdale; it's a 14 night cruise ending in Barcelona. We won't be getting nearly as much sun worshiping as you will.
