We are looking into booking our 3rd cruise, this time on the Legend of the Seas. I have a question about the categories though...

On RCI's website, they have outside cabins with balcony and they have junior suites with balconies. When i go to different websites to compare prices, they seem not to offer outside with balconies, but only the junior suites.

Is there a difference between both?

Anyone ever cruised the western carib. departing from Tampa on this ship?

These are 2 distinct categories. Superior oceanview with a balcony (category D1) are 193 sq. ft. (balcony 38 sq ft) and are all the oceanview cabins on deck 7 and the aft cabins on deck 6. The Junior Suites are 236 sq. ft (balcony 75 sq. ft)and are found on deck 8.
