We have been only on Carnival and are curious what the age range is on RCCL. We are 26 and 30 and hoping to meet others around our age.

Should be pretty similar, as both lines appeal to the full spectrum, but their ads definitely are aimed at younger adults and families. (Especially RCCL with the rock climbing walls and other activities.) Generally, the shorter the cruise, the younger the passenger mix, and of course conversely, the longer the cruise, the higher the average age will be.

We have been on 2 carnival cruises and will be going on our 2nd RCCL cruise in Sept. We found the age range on RCCL was from babies to senior citizens. The Carnival ships seem to have more young people. Of course we are not the party animal type so maybe we didn't see the late night crowd on RCCL. We've had a great time on both cruise lines.

I think that both lines are targeting the same audience- the younger adults and families, but I see all ages on Carnival. They have a history of "attracting the younger crowd" but lately that no longer seems to be true. They have a min age of booking at 21, so its no longer the spring break college cruise line. You should be able to me people your age on either cruise line.
