That's a great idea to talk to the shore excursion operator. I've called the cruiseline about 3 times on this issue and they just give me their best guess which is that they stay on Florida time. Thanks for all the input.

I'm leaving on april 5th on Enchantment of the seas. I saw that there is an identical cruise that leaves on March 22. if anyone is on that cruise, could you let me know if they change times or not? Are there any other chat sites I could look at to find someone on that cruise?
Thanks,

Hopefully Customs will clear the ship on time so if clocks do not change you will have time to make your excursion.

But isn't it more likely the Cayman Port Authority uses their local time regardless of what time the ship uses?

I don't ever remember changing clocks back and forth on a cruise. Our experience has always been the same as the port we left from.

You can see by my signature we cruise RCCL annually--we have never changed a clock from Florida (Eastern time). Also no daylight savings in the caribbean which puts Miami time 2 hours different than Cozumel. Agree with other posters that calling the cruise line can net you a variety of answers (have tried this myself, had the problem of cruising over the daylight savings time change weekend last year) depending on who you talk to. You may have to make assumptions and punt on this one.

Well this is probably too late to help the original poster, but maybe it can help someone...

I, too, had this same question, as to whether they change the time on Enchantment of the Seas to match local time. No one, and I mean NO ONE, could give me a straight answer. However, having just returned I can definitely say that, yes, you do change your clocks twice on this ship. So, in Cozumel for example, your time is the same as local time. It seems a little weird to change your clock on night, and then set it back the next night, but that's what we did. But, it is nice, not to worry about "ship's time" vs. "local time". Hope that helps.
