what is the best to order at chops?

Hi, my husband and I want to eat at chops on the liberty, we have never eat there before. We both love ribeye steak and he loves steak & lobster. What is your favorite things to get there and also what kind of dessert is the best there?

I order the filet mignon or New York strip. No matter what you order, it will be the best you ever had. What I like, you may not like. They will bring out a sample tray for you to look at. Now I'm really hungry!

I'll second Sonny's choice. Also, the garlic mash potatos were the best-I can't imagine a bad meal at Chops-well worth the little extra money. Enjoy!!

Thank you all so much. Sonny that dessert looks positively delicious. I can't wait! The only thing I'm worried about is I see where we can get reservations before boarding the ship on RC website. I'm wondering if there will be anything available when we get on. I want to see what's going on before I commit to a reservation this early.

We had no problem making reservation at both Portofino's and Chops while on board the ship on our last cruse.

Neither did we the first time we went. As most of us do, we usually head up to the Windjammer for lunch as soon as we board, and Chops and Portfinos are right there just before the entry. Simply stop before lunch and ask the lady for a time and day of your choice, and plan about 1-1 1/2 hrs for a really GREAT dinner.

Keep in mind that RC just began offering everyone the option of booking the specialty restaurants online before you board. This may result in less availability once you board.

However, you can book your reservation online and cancel up to 10 days before the cruise. If you cancel after the 10 day period, you receive a credit to your account - and $20pp isn't too hard to spend elsewhere!
