luggage in Fort Lauderdale

We are cruising on the celebrity century's Eastern carribian. The ship arrives back in fort lauderdale at 7:00 am yet my flight does not leave until 4:30. Is there a place we could store our luggage and check out fort lauderdale for a while. Also what should I see and do during that time

The cruise line will offer excursions, generally if your return flight leaves after 4PM. This is the way to go, as they will take care of your luggage and deliver it to the airport for you. Really don't know what's available on the shore excursions, but that's the way to go. Have fun!
