Did you get your wine back at the end of the cruise?

Thanks papaflamingo - I am sure we will enjoy it no matter how she looks. We were on the Explorer and then went on the Majesty - that was a big difference. At first we kept comparing the 2 ships but then realized that wasn't fair. Had a great time on all the ships we have been on.

Got the wine back early during the last day (around 4:00). It was actually champagne so we chilled it and had our champagne prior to dinner. Our friend also got his three bottles back. The crew was very nice when they confiscated his alcohol and had him laughing about it. Done in a very non-condemning way. Oh, one other note. When we cleared Customs coming back there was no meeting to declare over purchases, they simply collected our forms as we left with our luggage.
Can't speak highly enough about the ship and crew.

Thanks for the information; we have always declared our wine at check in with no problems. Once, and it was the Grandeur out of Nawlins, they took the wine and gave it to the purser. The purser made sure we received the right bottle of wine each night in the dining room. We will continue to declare our wine at check in, resting a little more easily knowing that we will get it back if for some reason it gets confiscated at check in.
