Rent a car - Port Canaveral

Did anybody rent a car going to Port Canaveral? And if you did, where do you drop it? And in the way back is at a same way or not?Do you need to walk long way?We are living Dec 28 with "Mariner of the Seas"

Just did it a few weeks ago. We flew into Orlando International and rented from Budget one way to Port Canaveral. There is a shuttle there that drops you off right at the pier. When you return the Budget van will be doing continuous shuttles to the pier to take you back to the rental spot. It was really pretty easy and convenient because we were there an extra days on both ends so we wanted a car to use.

I also did it about a month ago. The drop-off point is only 5 miles from the port. All the major car rentals have free shuttle service to the port.

Thank you! I was thinking to rent a car form Tampa to Port Canaveral. So in the way back they will come and pick us up and drop us to rentals?

I always call the car rental to confirm shuttle service. You'll probably save money if you book in advance.

i have booked Dollar now and this should be ok as well to drop off the car at CC.

I will be on the Mariner from Orlando to Valparaiso. 04.01 - 03.02.09
