Younique: You don't 'pay' for the SeaPass. It will be your boarding card/ your room key/ and your 'charge' account on the ship. Each time you buy anything (drinks, souveniers, bingo) it will be added on your room bill. Any time throughout the cruise, you can pay on your bill at the Pursers desk. If you don't pay the bill, it will be charged on your credit card which you have presented at the beginning of the cruise.
Now since there are two separate people in the room, there may be two separate charge cards. Each person can be responsible for his/her own charges, or you can combine them on one card.
I am also on this cruise. Looking forward to meeting you and your boyfriend! I'm traveling alone this time (hubby can't get time off). I was on the Sovereign three weeks ago, and can't wait to return and see my ship pals! Let's have a good time!
thank you, so do we need to use a credit card, or can we pay for the bill with cash? also are you reffering to the credit card we used to purchase the cruise tickets? or do they ask to see it when you get on the ship?
When you check in, and receive your Sea Pass, they will ask for either a credit card number or a cash deposit to secure the expenses you will make onboard. Even if you give them a credit card at check-in, you can still settle your bill in cash at the end of the cruise.
I've never used cash for this purpose, but others who use this board have...someone should check in soon with more particulars.
