I WILL BE CRUISING ON THE EXPLORER OF THE SEAS ON FEB 2 FOR TWELVE DAYS AND I WAS WONDERING HOW MUCH LUGGAGE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE ON THE SHIP. WHAT ARE THE BEST REMEDIES TO PREVENT SEA SICKNESS.
THANKS CHUCKLES

Hi Chuckles, welcome to cruise-chat. Please turn the caps off (it is considered yelling). You can bring as much as you need. I would judge by the destinations and excursions as to how much to bring. The first 2 cruises we went on I way overpacked. Think about outfits that you can mix & match rather than take so many different outfits. Saves on shoes too! As for sea sickness, there is a patch that you can wear behind your ear or a pressure band for your wrist. On the bigger ships you almost never feel any motion.

As far as motion sickness, Dramamine (the less drowsy formula) works pretty well, although you have to take it an hour before travel, so if you are in doubt take it. Although, as mentioned before, most cruise ships are large enough that you won't feel any motion unless you have really choppy seas.

As far as luggage, I would pack one large suitcase plus a small duffel with your carry on items, such as valuables. For a five day cruise, you should only probably need a few sets of casual wear, a couple sets of evening wear, a formal outfit (if you want to eat in the main dining room), and swim wear.

A 12 day cruise is hard to pack for, you do need to mix and max, pants or skirts you can wear with a couple outfits. Daytime and nighttime wear. I bring the BIG suitcase, and a large garment bag, that clothes stay hung in. My carry on bag is the biggest the airlines allow....so yeah I overpack, so you can probably do better. Where are you cruising for 12 days ?
