Just booked a "bump" room on Navigator in January! SOOOOOO looking forward to a break from winter here in Ohio :-) (even though it hasn't even started yet!) Never had a 'bump' room--im excited!

Congratulations! You'll have a great time. It's so nice to have all this time to anticipate a cruise!

The cabins located in the blisters, or bumps, along with sides of the ship. The outward curved sections in the ship's architecture.

To some they are better because the balconies extend farther out than the others, and also may have more room or depth to them because of the curvature. The cabins themselves are no different than others in the same category. Look at a ship's deck plan and you'll see what I mean. The passageways curve along with the cabins.

I love the bump out cabins. Here's a picture I took from the balcony of a bump out I had last year. The stateroom it's self is the same as any other E-1 cabin.
