Hi rishca,
Welcome to cruise-chat! The easiest way to get to the port is via taxi, but if the whole group is planning to arrive together you might want to consider Gray Line of Seattle's Cruise Express. They offer continuous regularly scheduled service to the port for $20 per adult/$14 per child for round trip transfers and $12 adult/$10 child - one-way fares. Or, you can reserve one of their charters as they have various size vehicles to service groups of 14-68.
I have sailed on the Vision of the Seas 3 times and loved it! Personally I think the Vision Class ships are a nice size and are very attractive vessels. I have never been disappointed in the service.
As for the ports: You will spend some time actually cruising through the Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier areas and have abbreviated stops for some close-up viewing from onboard the ship, but there are also a number of excursions that offer a variety of different exploring options at each port. You might want to check out our sister site, PortReviews.com for details about some of the great things to do at each port. Here is the link to the Alaska information:

Just use the navigation bar on the left to locate the specific ports you will be visiting.
