Liberty and Towels

For those of you that have been on the Liberty, what is the scoop with the beach towels. We have been reading about some problems being charged for towels improperly. Now, whether this is true or not, I don't know. But, I would like to know what the policy is as far as getting a towel. Do they not furnish them and you have to use your room key to check them out as I have been reading elsewhere? I just want to be clear so I can have as much info as possible to make things go smoothly. Thanks.

Hi Bruce, Yes they furnish towels. They will be in your room for use at the pools or beaches. You can bring your wet towel for exchange for a dry one at the pool area, or if you're at a beach you can exchange your towel when boarding the ship. You can bring your towel back to your stateroom if you want. Your cabin steward will have clean towels when he/she makes up your room in the evening. If you lose your towel you will be held responsiable. My wife and I have never lost a towel.

Thanks Sonny. We were hearing that you had to show your room key to check out a towel and then let them scan it when you turned it back in. We have never lost a towel either but I wanted to make sure they had not started doing something different of late. It is almost time to go cruising!! BTW, what happened to the little waving emotiocon? I will need that one in a few days!!

Bruce, if you don't bring you towel out to the pool area, you can check out a towel using your key card; when you return it they check your name off. It's more convenient that going back to your room to get the towels. I'll check on the waving Graemlin.

Sonny, thanks for the info. We can't wait for the final few days to tick by. We have a Rays, Reef and Rum excursion in Grand Cayman booked (independant contractor) and the Dolphin Adventure in Chankanaab Park in Cozumel. I look forward to seeing the Liberty for the first time and especially our daughter's expression!! Now that will be priceless!! Just hurry and find the little waving guy for me!! LOL!!
