Hi people,

here my first answer to all the people here on the board, who have been on the Splendour.
We have a special offer for the transatlantic cruise in november from Barcelona-Spain to Galveston.

So, let me read many comments about this ship.
Ive already read Nancys review. Wow, I hope I could write such a review for you, that you can read a review from a german cruiser.

Thanks for all your replies, Marita

We did the same cruise a few years ago. This was our first cruise. The ship is awsome, the use of all the glass makes it seems bigger than it really is.
What I will say is be prepared for a last minute change to your journey, we had to miss quite few stops because the weather turn on us, but it never spoiled our holiday.
The dinning room is great, and the food is to die for. You get great views from the Windjammer too.
I can't rate this ship highly enough, the staff are very attentive too. I wasn't too impressed with the captain at the time, especially his dailly announcement, they were a bit bland.
If you would like some more info, please let me know.
Billy

Thank you Bill,

we knwo the Jewel and the Brilliance and we love both ships. We know that the Splendour is older, but we hope the service and the food is as goed as on the two other ships we know.
Im a little bit afraid of the weather, because even in the caribbean and in the baltic Sea I was seasick for at least one day.
But I need another cruise this year, because we worked so hard and we deserve it.
The other cruise, we made this year, with the Zenith, was not what we expected. Not as good as RCCL, not the food and not the staterooms. Everything was so old and has to be refurbished.
I hope its better on the Splendour. But the price is really interesting. So lets hope, that my hubby gets some more vacationdays from his boss.

Marita
