My apologies for getting Courney's thread off topic.
Sonny- it is amazing to be on a chat line and seem to think you have friends/acquaintances...that you feel like you "know" them,
then to hear your life story in a nutshell...really makes you think. I can't even imagine how it was to walk in your shoes. I am a stay at home wife and my husband has 5 more years to retire. We are fortunate enough to be taking our second cruise. We look forward to the day we can enjoy more cruises like you and your wife. Life is never fair and I'm sure your memories of your son are full of love and devotion. Everyone on this website really appreciates your advice, thanks for being a new friend and fellow cruiser.
P.S. Let me know what you decide on Panama Canal. I will take your advice and FMattox (Island Princess) into consideration!
