We are planning to go on the Explorer of the seas for honeymoon and I just read the "First Cruise Questions". But which side is the port side of the Explorer of the seas?

I don't think there's any way of knowing for sure what side the port will be on with any of these itinerary's. My last cruise I was expecting the port to be on my side of ship with each arrival but it wasn't on one of them, the ship turned around to dock. Granted it was only on one port that this happened but we were still dissapointed. I'd like to take the Explorer next year for my 3rd cruise. How about those cabins overlooking the promenade deck? I hear those are becoming quite popular in bookings.
Sandra, the port side of any ship is the left, as you are facing toward the front of the ship. If your question is rather, which side of the ship faces toward the land when you are in port, the answer is, it varies. Whenever you are in port, there will be something interesting to see whichever side of the ship you are on, or even if you are at the stern (the back end).
