Soundproof decks?

I have booked our very first cruise, we will take a short cruise on the Jewel of the Seas and are really looking forward to it!

Now to my question:
Do you know if cabins usually are soundproof or will one hear a lot of noice from the corridor? Also, our cabin is above the theater. Do you think we will hear sounds from the deck below?

I don't think you will have any noise problems. The only noise I hear is when someone is talking loud while walking past our cabin door. The Jewel is a great ship. Here's my favorite picture of the Jewel I took when docked in Nasau. JEWEL DOCKED IN NASAU

Thank you! I seems to give you some idea of it's size. Like I said, it's my favorite picture of the Jewel.
