Fuel Surcharge News

It may show up as on-board credit. Could also be credited to you credit card. I'm not sure how they decide that. We got on-board credit for ours.

The only way you'll get a refund instead of an onboard credit, is if you already took your cruise before the good news. I can see why RCCL wants the refund done by onboard credit…people will be more apt to spend it on the ship.

I am all mixed up... Great news but is it applying for us?? Booked June 2007, paid only the account required... final paiment Feb 1, 2008.. for a cruise April 2008...

Did the full paiement had to made for Nov or... just the account is.. In a way, the will respect the price we did booked in June 2007..without that fuel supplement??

I didn't book with R.C. and I don't see my credit on r.c. site... is it normal??

We paid the deposit BEFORE the Nov. date but did't pay the final cost until this Feb. and we got an onboard credit. Booked online with RCCL myself & when I checked our acct. with them the credit was there. If you booked with a TA call them & inquire.

Did you already set up your onboard account with your credit card info? I haven't done that yet and think that may be why the credit isn't there yet.

You will get an onboard credit like everyone else. When you board the ship, go to the Guest Relations Desk; they will let you know how much you have in onboard credit.

SOOOOOO UNFAIR! It looks like if you upgrade your cruise after the cut off, even though you booked before the deadline...you have to pay the fuel surcharge. Such BS.

I think that because we already "checked in" online is why we see the credit so soon.

I just booked my cruise - March 2008 - for April 28, 2008 - It's for 4 nights - there is 3 of us. What will my fuel charge be?

NOT TRUE! You booked before November 16th and want to upgrade, you don't pay any fuel charges unless you cancel that booking and re-book. Always keep the same booking number, even if you change ships. If you re-booked, you made a BIG mistake! Check to see if the booking number was changed…if not, you're going to be happy again.
