Kim, when we got to Nassau what I did was went to Wyndham Crystal Palace on Cable Beach (much less crowded that where everyone else goes, which usually is to Atlantis). I got myself a room there just for the day with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean and took a nice soak in the tub and went down to the lovely pool area, and played a few slots (came out ahead!) at their casino. I took a cab there and when it was time to go back to the ship, I took a cab back from the hotel which turned out to be a limo. So I arrived back at the ship rested, all cleaned up and noticed other passengers coming back looking rather tired from lots of walking and etc. So personally I would certainly recommend a day of relaxation at the Wyndham as perhaps an anniversary alternative to eating at a restaurant. They did have a nice restaurant; I ordered conch fritters room service, though, and sat out on the balcony and ate my lovely lunch.

I do remember that it would have been difficult to eat an evening meal in Nassau due to having to be back on the ship.
