Getting to & from Orlando to Port Canaveral

My first cruise, yeh! Going on the Sov. of the seas. Does anyone know of any Hotels in Orlando that have shuttle service to Port Canaveral, or Hotels in Port Can. that has shuttle service to the airport? We are flying in 2 days before the cruise and then staying 4 days after cruise to go to disney world - trying to figure out the best and cheapest way to get to and from airport.

I doubt there are any hotels doing shuttle service between MCO and Port Canaveral or vice-versa. I've not heard of any. It is simply too far a drive for a hotel to provide free service. It is almost 50 miles.

Your only real options are to book a shuttle service, a limo, a rental car, or a cab. The Radisson Resort At The Port in Canaveral has a free shuttle to the pier, but it is only a mile or so away.

hi we have the same problem. Were getting a hire car from Orlando int then driving to fort canaveral were staying at the radisson were they have a free shuttle bus to the port.

We went to Disneyworld before our cruise this past April and we took the Magical Express (Disney's free shuttle service) to our resort from the airport. After our stay at Disney I had Art's Shuttle pick us up at the Disney resort and take us to Coco Beach for the night. (We sailed the following day.) We were very happy with them. Two other members of my family were not able to do the Disney portion of the trip so I had Coco Beach shuttle pick them up at the airport and take them directly to Coco Beach to meet up with us the night before sailing. Coco Beach shuttle was cheaper than Art's for getting from the airport to Coco Beach but not cheaper from the Disney resort to Coco Beach. We were pleased with both companies. Cocoa Beach shuttle also has shuttle rides from the hotels in Coco Beach to the port for about $5, but we decided to take a cab so we could go earlier than the shuttle picks up.
