Room Upgrade

We booked a superior oceanview stateroom on deck seven on the Grandeur of the Sea sailing to Bermuda on May 21. Yesterday I received a booked confirmation from Royal Caribbean and it states we have a junior suite on deck eight. Believe me, I'm not complaining, the junior suite looks a lot nicer. But, just curious, can anyone tell me why they would upgrade us without us requesting it?
