Travel agent suggested it would be more spacious than other D1 balcony categories because it is wider and would have larger balcony also. On the 10th floor back stern of ship starboard side. Looking at deck plans looks like the balcony door might face a wall instead of the ocean. Can't find a good photo of exterior of ship to see if balcony view is better than other D1 categories or not. Bigger balcony with less view isn't what I want. Has anyone stayed there or know if the view is obstructed. I called RCL rep. and they didn't have any knowledge or specific measurements for that room. I read chat-room info. posted by Sonny about cabin 1402 question. Is 1400 any good or should we just book a starboard or port D1 room?

I'd choose 1400. You'll get more view than if you book a cabin on either side of the ship. The room is wider, but not as long. Being wider (about 4 feet) makes it seem larger. There is a 4" support post inside the cabin, but it's not in your way.
