March or April 12 day cruise

We are looking at the 12 day cruise out of Bayonne NJ for 2009. Has anyone taken this? If so how was it? We are looking at either March 15,2009 or April 5,2009, which would you suggest is better? How is the weather leaving out of NJ in March? The first and last 2 days are at sea. We aren't looking at a balcony for this one - probably a promanade view. Any help deciding would be appreciated.
