Wow. 11,000 or so passengers on just two ships.
Oasis and Allure Photo Click again in the linked photo for an enlarged version. |
That's a great shot!

I wonder if the captains will put a tape to their ships to see if the Allure is actually 5 cm longer http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif

Slap one more coat of paint on the Oasis and they'll be the same!

I was on the Oasis last January and it was the finest ship I've ever been on...the destinations weren't the best, but the ship was.
I don't know if I will sail the Allure or not, but may give it a try.....What a nice ride.... Bob E |
There are some visual differences that you can spot at a glance. For one, the front set of life boats on the Oasis are 5 together, then a space and the last on. The Allure are grouped 4 and 2. Also, the high rise section in the Aqua Theatre is dark/black on the Oasis and is white on the Allure. You can tell which one is the Oasis by looking at the water line too. The Oasis is off on a cruise fully loaded and sitting lower in the water while the Allure just has crew and not all the plants and other items yet. But, who's paying attention to that trivial stuff, that is a gorgeous picture of what 2 Billion+ dollars looks like floating!! http://bestsmileys.com/lol/21.gif We can't wait to go on one of them if they will ever come down on the price premium.

After seeing the food and other things when Today was aboard Allure yesterday, I don't know if I can wait until June.
The hot dog stand is a great idea for the Boardwalk. I'm also looking forward to the South American-style churrascaria restaurant. |
