What time to get to port

My ship leaves at 5pm, so what would be the best time to arrive at the port?

I have found getting to the port around 11:30 works good.

If you arrive too early you'll be standing in line. I've already waited until after 1pm be before we could board the ship. It depends when the ship is cleared. I usually get to the port around noon. Remember, you can't get into your stateroom before 1pm. We usually just head for the Windjammer with our carry-on luggage, and enjoy a great lunch before going to our stateroom.

We did the same as Sonny. It was nice to get on, have lunch, explore and go for a swim! We were told that we could go to our staterooms by 2pm and we got there a bit before. Sure enough, our luggage was there and our rooms were ready! It was nice to have a few hours on the ship before we even set sail, especially since we did a short cruise last time.
