Promenade rooms...Which floor is best for looking down?

My 74 year old mother and her friend are booked on the 8th deckof the explorer. Looking at pics of the promenade I see that the 8th deck windows curve in a bit. Would they be too high for her and should we change to a lower deck. I want her to be comfortable with looking out the window. She says it is okay, I would like advice from anyone who has stayed in those atrium rooms. Thank you

My hubby & I are currently booked in a promenade cabin on the 8th deck of the Freedom of the Seas. We chose that cabin after some research in which we found that the windows in the top-most promenade cabins provide the best view. These windows are the same as the lower promenade cabin windows except that the top of the window angles out, providing an 'overlook' of sorts. (does that make sense?)
