AFT cabin 7388 on Explorer of the Seas?

I have booked an aft cabin 7388 - it is the corner one on Explorer of the seas because I had heard they were larger and I thought the view might be better. However, I have seen that you can have some obstruction to your view. How bad is the obstruction on deck 7? Also, is it noiser or have any odor issue being in the back?

When we were on the Mariner we had the same cabin as yours except it was on the opposite side from 7388. Here is a photo of the aft end, which should be similar to what is seen on the Explorer. Aft End of Mariner

Those corner balconies are huge, easily 120 square feet or so. You have a large round opening on the side with unencumbered views. Noise and smoke are not a problem. It was the best balcony we have ever had.

Thanks Dave56 - it was actually your picture that made me nervous. Looks like alot of space on the balcony but wasn't sure how much you can see.

It really wasn't as bad as it looks in the photo. Plus you have that huge porthole on the side.
