Does anyone know what the policy is for back to back cruises for RCCL. Do you have to disembark and get back on? If you have the same room for each cruise, do you leave your stuff in the room? I probably will have other questions regarding this, so any and all info is appreciated. Thanks, Lil' Lori

Hi- Yes, if you have the same room you leave everything in it. An officer of the ship will lead you out and you will be issued a new seapass. This is done before the ship is cleared and new passengers start boarding. It's really kind of neat.

I have only had the priviledge of back to back cruises one time in my life. Like Sonny said, you are escorted of the ship and re-processed. You get a new ship card, and in my case, I was awarded an upgrade. I didn't anticipate that, but it was a nice gesture on their part. The only drawback was that before I could get back to the room and collect my belongings, my cabin steward had repossessed my liquor that I just received the night before. He left me a claimcheck, and a towel animal.

Sprit, the ports depend on the itinerary for both weeks. Some ships in the Caribbean will alternate eastern Caribbean weeks with western Caribbean weeks. If you do those two weeks back to back, you go to different ports except for any ports those two itineraries may have in common. If you're on a ship that does eastern Caribbean itineraries every week, then yes, you go back to the same ports the second week.
