This will be a great experience! Are you doing the 3-day or 5-day? I was on the Majesty back in October of 2007 for the 4-night cruise and loved it. Some tips for you:

Definitely try to get over to Atlantis while you're in Nassau. It should be a very expensive cab ride at all from the port. If you like snorkeling, you may want to give that a try in Coco Cay (sorry if I misspelled that.). Parasailing is also a great experience if you like that. Personally I did both and loved them. I booked through the cruise line, but you can also book places on your own. The information center in the cruise terminal at Nassau can help you.

Don't worry about exchanging your money in the Bahamas. I was told when I went (I don't know if it's still the same) that the Bahamian dollar the the US dollar are exactly equivalent in value, and both are widely accepted.

We did a B2B on Majesty in January and will be doing another B2B starting the 25th of this month.

We really enjoyed our first cruise on her. RCL recently spent 41 millon on a refurb. She's a beautiful ship. The crew is very friendly and the food was really good!

Keep in mind that she doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the Voyager or Freedom class ships but we didn't miss them at all. ENJOY!

I just came back from my first cruise on the majesty and I loved it! If you have any questions just let me know. We did the 4 night cruise and my favorite port was Key West!! If you go there, make sure you go to kermit's for some frozen key lime pie dipped in chocolate. It's amazing!!

If you like Parasailing or snorkeling, then definitely try to do those while you're in either Nassau or CocoCay. While you're in Nassau, definitely try to go over the bridge to see Atlantis and Paradise island. It shouldn't be a very expensive cab ride at all, especially if you share with another party that wants to go over there.

Other than that, it really depends on what you want to do. Mainly just relax and have fun!

i think we are going to try the parasailing in Coco Cay. Has anyone done the Segway tour in Nassau? What about the Taste of Key west in Key West?

Those are some of the excursions we are thinking aobut doing. Do any of you have a don't miss excursion?
