We are thinking about taking the Majesty of the Seas cruise. Don't really know which month to go. We will be visiting Nassau, Cococay and Key West. We love to snorkel and we want to make sure the water is the best. Please, any suggestions. Thanks!

We usually go around October 20th and have had great luck. I've also been in November and December. Since I'm a weenie, I got cold in the water even though it was 80 something degrees. Did a couple in April that were great as well. Guess I'm not being much help, I love to go to the Caribbean anytime. Hurricane season is usually at the strongest between June and September, but after last year I guess that's changing. Have a wonderful time!!

Penny,

Talk about a WEENIE, that's the problem. I want the water to be "just right". We went to Cozumel three years ago in October and it seemed perfect to me. I guess that's really what I'm interested in, the water temperature (the right month). Thanks so much for responding, we're looking forward to cruising!

We hae done that cruise in the past. The water is usually fine. Last year was mid october and it was great. The year before we did in Feb. It was a little cold in Orlando that year, but once we got south it was nice and warm Coco Cay is a lot of fun.

I have lived in the islands and Florida for many years of my life-best time are in the fall as prices are down, tourist numbers are fewer, cruise rates have moderated, and the islands look their best getting ready for the holidays-plus hurricane season is past!

TOOK THE SAME CRUISE MARCH 20,06. THE WATER WAS A LITTLE CHILLY AT FIRST(NOT BAD) THEN IT WAS GREAT.HECK MY WIFE EVEN GOT IN!
FALL CRUISES YOU TAKE A RISK WITH HURRICANES AND CHANGING WEATHER PATTERNS.

HAVE A GREAT TIME WHEN EVER YOU GO!

I go during the last week of October/first week of November every year and it is always great - calm seas and warm water temps. This year I was at Atlantis for the first week in February. We signed up to swim with the dolphins and had a great time but the water was a bit cold - cold for those of us who want the warm water. The end of October is a great time as the hurricanes are usually done by then but it's still warm!

Thanks for the responses. I appreciate each of you taking the time out. I wouldn't enjoy it quite as much if the water was cold. Again, thanks!

Where did you swim with the dolphins? Cost? Was it worth it? THanks.
