We are spending the night in Miami before getting on our cruise. Our travel agent said we won't find out any info about our flight until 2 weeks before our cruise date. I was wondering if it was possible to request to Royal Caribbean that we want the earliest flight or at least a strait through flight (with no layovers and changing planes) because we have a 3 year old boy. It will be a nightmare otherwise. Has anyone ever been able to request anything about their flight?

Thank you,
Linda

You can get direct flights with the air/sea package but it will cost you extra. RCCL calls it "custom air".

Thanks Dave, I can always count on you.
Does the custom air have to be set up by the travel agent when the cruise was booked, or can I call them and set it up now? Our cruise is still over a year away.

Call your travel agent and have them make the change.

Your TA should be able to get it for you. I booked clients sailing out of San Juan and was able to get the custom air for them. The additional fare was around $50.00/pp for the change, they didnt mind paying it since they wanted the better flights.
