I should refrase that to say it wasn't turned in at the pier check-in. They gave us the form at check-in, but you can just fill it out and then drop it off in a box at the pursers desk. In the past every RCI cruise I've been on lately has put it on your bed midway through the cruise.

One thing I did think was annoying was I had to go stand in line early in the morning to get a refund on my on board account even though I had used a credit card. I had some on board credit that I didn't use all of it. I thought it would be just credited back to my credit card. They said no, I had to come sign for it and get cash the last morning. Also note; some onboard credits are non-refundable. Credit you receive for booking on board, and stock on board credit is non-refundable. So just use it up! I knew the booking on board credit was nonrefundable, but I thought the stock credit was refundable. But, it says right on my onboard invoice "Nonrefundable".

I must agree with Berick on this one.We always go to B of A before we travel and get 50 dollars in 2 dollar bills. It is not the amount that people like but the rarity. They tell us they are good luck and probably won't spend it.Give it a try and watch the smiles you get.

CF, I found that out on CCL last time as well. I had some friends that were paying separately, and they had put all the OBC on one of their accounts. Since it was a non-refundable credit they couldn't split it on the folios without Miami doing it and a big wait and see hassle. So I told them it would be easier to work it out themselves. That was easy enough, the one went to the casino and got cash for the difference and paid on the other's account. It was $3 difference with the casino charge is all. It sounds like RCI and CCL are pretty much getting homogenized with the "refundable vs. non-refundable" OBC's.
