New Some Advice - Navigator of the Seas

Hi Everyone:

I'm new to cruising so any help would be appriciated. I will be traveling with my girlfirend on the Navigators of the Seas this Summer and have a few general questions.

1) Is there any possiblity that we would be able to get a table for 2, and if so what steps would I need to take to get this done. Do we call the cruise-line in advance?

2) Are there any Hairdryers/Safes/Irons in the cabins?

3) Does anyone know which night is usually lobster night? We want to try the other Specialty Resturants out too, but don't want to miss good food in the dining room. Which nights in the main dining room would be good to miss? The Formal Nights?

4) We have a flight leaving MIA International at 1pm on the day we Disembark from the Ship. Will we have enough time to get off the ship in the morning to get to the Airport by 11am ish? What is the Disembarking process like?

If you have booked through a travel agent, let your agent request a small table. The smallest tables on the ship, I believe, are for four people.

2) Are there any Hairdryers/Safes/Irons in the cabins?

There are both hairdryers and safes in the staterooms. There are no irons in the rooms for safety reasons. You can have items pressed onboard for a small fee.

3) Does anyone know which night is usually lobster night? We want to try the other Specialty Resturants out too, but don't want to miss good food in the dining room. Which nights in the main dining room would be good to miss? The Formal Nights?

Lobster night is the Captains night, which is the second night out. You will have two formal nights.

4) We have a flight leaving MIA International at 1pm on the day we Disembark from the Ship. Will we have enough time to get off the ship in the morning to get to the Airport by 11am ish? What is the Disembarking process like?

If you have air booked separate from the cruise line, you will need to notifiy either your travel agent or the cruise line of your flight information. I also highly suggest getting your transfers through the cruise line as well.

Incidentally, my husband and I sailed Navigator in January and had a fantastic ship. This was by far one of the best cruises we have ever taken. The ship is beautiful. Staterooms are very comfortable. Food is good. Great service and fantastic entertainment. I am sure you will enjoy yourselves!
