Hi i have read that you have to pay a cover charge to get in. But i also read that once you are in, the food and drinks are no charge....is this true. thanks Mona
Hi Mona, welcome to cruise-chat. Yes, there is a cover charge of $3.50 per person. You can eat all the food you want. You will have to pay for soda and malts. Punch, lemonade, ice tea, coffee, and water is free. Take a look at EOS's Johnny Rockets. CLICK HERE
That Johnny Rockets looks larger and better laid out than the one on the Freedom. I like the tables with the chairs - very retro. I don't like the outside booths they have on Freedom - they have no atmosphere.
Hi Dave, all the Johnny Rockets on the Voyager class ships are like the Freedom. They did a good job on the one on the EOS. All I really notice is the looks of the huge burger and plate of onion rings...
So if there is a coverage charge of $3.50 and some of the drinks are free, is there anything else free? What is so special about Johnny Rockets, other than the atmosphere and maybe the music? Is there anything to see/do other than food, and what are some of the prices, if you have to pay for the food?
You don't pay for the food. If you want a great cheeseburger, great onion rings and fries, than Johnny Rockets is the place to go. They have other sandwiches on the menu also. I usually visit Johnny Rockets just one time while on a cruise. If you don't think it' worth a $3.50 cover charge for all you can eat, than there are a lot of other places you go for free. I get a free coupon, otherwise I probably would think twice about eating at Johnny Rockets when I can have a large variety of food at the windjammer.
