Going on Sovereign in two weeks - teenager has to shoot hoops everyday especially during March Madness....
Does anyone know if the basketball hoop is still there?
Any other Sovereign tips would be appreciated.

Just sailed on it Mar 3 and it has a basketball hoop

Welcome to the forum! I am very happy you joined us - both as an old shipmate and friend, and also for your "civilian" cruise experience.

I have a basketball goal in the driveway but never use it. I really ought to, since it is great exercise and not boring like jogging.

Thanks for the site Dave. Me and the wife started cruising two years ago and we are hooked now. We have done 4 cruises all on RCLL so far. we are trying to get all are kids to go with us next year.

So you are just one cruise away from Platinum C&A level...platinum is good since you get nice perks like priority embarkation.

Another perk to hitting Platinum C&A status is that you become a Silver Select member of Celebrity's Captain's Club, which has nice perks as well should you decide to take a Celebrity cruise.

Thanks for the info on the basketball hoop on Sovereign of the Seas.
