I've read some recent posts lately about room sizes and squeezing too many into a room. This has me once again concerned about our family of 6 staying in the Family Oceanview with only 338 sq.ft.

I know we'll make do, and any inconvenience will be worth just being on a cruise together.

I'm now starting to consider our luggage arrangements. Our 3 girls will want to pack a lot of things. I'm going to limit how much they bring.
My question - after combining as many people into as few suitcases as possible, will we have a place to stow our suitcases once we arrive in our stateroom? Or will we be tripping over them all 8 days?

Any certain packing or luggage type information we should consider for our family of 6?

We store (as most people do) the empty suitcases under the beds. Then they are out of the way. As long as you can stack them inside each other you should be able to fit the "footprint" of 4 large suitcases under the beds and not have them out to be tripped on. We use a couple of large ones for a place to put dirty clothes too.

You should be fine.

Oh! So glad to hear there's room under the beds for storage of the luggage.

Are you familiar with the family oceanview bunk beds? Is there space under them for storage as well?

(Closets in the FO stateroom?)

Like Jim said, if you pack the smaller luggage inside the large, you should have no trouble storing your luggage. Even if you had to have one large suitcase standing somewhere in the room, the cabin pretty big.
