Buying alcohol at liquor store for your room

Hi there, can anyone tell me if you may purchase liquor at the liquor store on the ship to have it in your room. Thanks a bunch

Hi Sandylynn, welcome to Cruise-Chat. If you buy liquor at in the ship store or in a port, they will keep if for you until the last night of the cruise. At one time they did allow it for a extra $10. Now, since there as been so many bad incidence's with irresponsible pasaengers, they do not allow it.

hello,

they will bring you liquor to your room on the last night of your cruise like sonnyv said. you will be amazed at the price difference of the duty free and back here in the states. the ship's price are also a steal!

Thanks for your reply. So if you buy any liquor at a port....they check all your bags before you get back on the ship!

This does not include the wine purchased as a gift through the RC site's store, right? We're sailing in two weeks and I purchased a gift bottle of wine to be delivered to the stateroom of two people I'm traveling with. I'm assuming the delivery date requested on the wine will stand, correct?

I believe that you have nothing to worry about. You can also purchase wine to have with your dinner. So I really don't see how this could be any different. That is a great gesture. Enjoy your cruise
