Corkgirl, inside cabins for catagory M or L on deck nine or ten are never in a guarantee category…you will have to pay more for a assigned cabin. The diamond plus desk gave me the London phone number and suggested calling for prices on cabins and airfare. This is the number they gave me: 44-1932-834-200. I hope this is of some help…

My partner and I went with a balcony guarantee on our first cruise. It was cheaper but I can't
remember how much less it cost. We were told that we wouldn't know which cabin we were in until the week of the cruise(so we had visions of obstructed views!)but the RCCL website posted our room number several weeks before we left. I suppose it depends on how quickly the cabins in that category fill up.
It was exactly what we wanted - several cabins from the front , near an elevator and nice and quiet . No complaints at all!

Hi Cork Girl - Limerick guy here :-) I'm just back from a week on board Freedom, I booked all flights and accomidation myself and the cruise directly on RC's website and i beleive it works out cheaper. We had a suite but we were able to pick our cabin driectly on the website when we paid the deposit.

Enjoy the cruise!!

We went the guarantee route once for insides and got two rooms on deck 10. We also knew people who got a balcony on a guaranteed inside. My agent indicated she has gotten a royal prominade inside on a guaranteed inside before. I think it is all luck of the draw.
