Did anyone see the story on inside edition about RCL? I will have to say I would not want my younger children going on RCL after seeing that. I have never witnessed anything like that in all the cruise's we have been on, 28 to date.
I have never been on RCL and after thier handling of this situation I won't be going.Tom
I been on 29 Royal Caribbean cruises and several times with my grandchildren. We are booked for Dec 9th with all my grandkids and other family members. I've NEVER had a bad experience on any of my cruises. I've been on other cruise lines also and can say the same about them. I didn't see the inside edition story but I wouldn't make any judgement on something the news media jumps on. Most people I talk to prefer RCCL over other cruise lines
The story was about them serving kid's as young as 13 booze, and how they allowed people to become so drunk that they hung barf bag's in the stairway's so that it would be eaiser to clean up.I have been on 28 cruises on many line's and have never witnessed anything like this.Maybe it was all staged for t.v.? Tom
I have been on many Royal Caribbean cruises and have sent hundreds of clients on RCI's ships as well, and have never seen nor heard stories about barf bags in the stairways. I did not see the "Inside Edition" report so I just know what I'm reading here.
Was it a Spring Break cruise with lots of high schoolers onboard?
They do put barf bags on the stairways in the event of rough seas (it's called seasickness). This practice is a courtesy to passengers and has nothing to do with drinking; underage or any other type. I have seen it on the Rhapsody and Enchantment.
Thomas, it amazes me that you apparently have cruised Carnival many times, but never saw any alcohol abuse? Give me a break.
LL

LL As I stated I have cruised many line's. Yes I have seen alcohol abuse. No where have I stated that I have cruised Carnival many times. But I repeat I have never seen anything like was shown on this show.I geuss if you did not see the show you could not appreciate the content.I have many friends that cruise several times a year who saw the show and have never seen anything like it either.I think you are a little touchy, Why? Tom
I personally have never seen a strategically placed barf bag, but if they have ever eaten my wife's cooking, they could do me the courtesy of putting a couple in my kitchen at home.
