Hello jake & liz go to RCCL site and visit the ship lay out. We prefer the center part of the ship it's usually close to an elevator, oh and pick a room with at least a window it is better than inside cabins.

Jake and Liz,

A friend of mine from Vancouver - who is an expert on cruises among his many other noteworthy personal achievements - cruised on the Empress a couple years ago and he was quite pleased with the ship. I trust his judgement without question and would personally take a cruise on Empress just because Alan said I should.

Bear in mind that Empress has small standard cabins - around 120 square feet or so - but it also is a smaller ship in general and has that intimate feel to it which many people prefer.

Good to hear positive recommendations for the Empress of the Seas. My husband Michael and I are booked for Feb 12, 2007 on Empress out of San Juan Puerto Rico for the 11 night Southern Caribbean Cruise. We are anxious to get sailing!

We just did the Empress in July to Bermuda..she is a wonderful, small, very clean ship and would sail on her again.

Thank you for the information, we are set to book for Jan 07. We have been on the explorer and the Sovereign so it looks like the Empress is next.

Thanks Again
Best Regards

Hi Jake and Liz!

I was on the same cruise las year an we will go again this year at the same time! I´ve made a short video which shows you a very good overview about the ship and the route. If you have further questions feel free to ask. The film is called
