Planning an Alaska cruise for summer 2006

I have sailed RCCL to the Caribbean and to Mexico. I have enjoyed my experiences with RCCL as I have sailed them 4 times in the past. I am considering the Vision of the Seas out of Seattle and I would appreciate any feedback on those who have sailed this ship I will be comparing this ship to the Holland America Oosterdam. I have sailed several times on HA and have had an equally wonderful experience as I have with RCCL. The majority of our cruises have been to the Caribbean and have been told of the wonders of Alaska. The Vision class ships are great choices for Alaska because of the expansive use to glass throughout the ships. Of course, HAL is considered a "Premium" line and Royal Caribbean a "mass-market" line, but I think the two are comparable.

I believe both lines are ver comparable. The only HA ship I have sailed is the Zuiderdam (2x's). I have sailed RCCL ships four times. I am most comfortable with these two cruise lines. From what I have read regarding the other HA ships, I believe the Vista Class ships are different from the other HA ships and are more like RCCL Ships. I do apprectiate your comments regarding the Vision class ships as I beleive it will either be this ship or the Oosterdam when all is said and done. In the meantime, have you sailed the AOS? Tht is our next cruise in February.
