My husband and I will be sailing out of Galveston on March 12 on the Rhapsody of the Seas ship. Any recommendations on what we should do on the ship as well as off, any do's and don'ts? Any and all feedback is helpful.. Thanks!

Antoniette, Check out the reviews of the Rhapsody of the Seas;
http://www.cruisereviews.com/RoyalCa...yoftheSeas.htm and then each port you are going to visit at; http://www.CaribbeanPortReviews.com That should answer a lot of your questoins. Let us know if you have anything specific you need to know. Tom |
Hello,
Do your research on each port. You may be able to see and do more on your own. For example if you visit Aruba you can easily rent a car for the day and see the entire island on your own. If you visit Puerto Limon, Costa Rica there is a ship excursion that features the canals of Costa Rica which is a very interesting tour. Do not let problems fester. For example if you do not feel comfortable with your table mates at the first dinner or do like the location of your table see the Maitre D or Dining Room Manager and have them change you. Do not expect champagne at beer prices, that is, you will not be waited on hand and foot as RCCL is a major cruise line but not in the luxury class. Remember, a cruise is an adventure. And try to enjoy cruising's great moments such sunsets as much as you can. Have a great time, Fred |
My wife and I went on our 1st cruise on Radiance of the Seas 12/11-12/18/05. Aboard we celebrated our 35th anniversary. I had always been reluctant to go on a cruise because I imagined that I would be too bored. It was such a wonderful experience that we will certainly repeat a cruise with Royal Caribbean’s Radiance. We are already planning our next cruise. May your cruise be as enjoyable as ours http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

Cliff, join the club! Cruising has a way of winning people over with their first cruise experience. Our first cruise was in 1980 and I love it as much now as I did after the first time.
Maybe more! Sandy |
One of my favorite things is to be seated at dinner with new cruisers. They have always been fun and so thrilled about the experience - like kids with a new toy in some cases.
