Question about drinks in Concierge lounge.(Navigator)

Ok, We have a grand suite on navigator later this month and I had a question about the concierge lounge. Now if I'm correct we will have available the Concierge Club everyday. What is there during the day? Just a private area? Now it also says open bar each evening. Anyone know what that entails? times?

The reason I ask is we don't drink alot but like a drink before dinner/ maybe before a show. Hubby more than myself. I went to a hotel this summer that our room had access to one of these "clubs" and it turned out the "Breakfast" was just a hotel continental breakfast and the drinks were for one hour , (during our show time) and you had to pay for them, and it was only beer and wine (and i'm a liquor person) So it ended up we paid extra for something we ended up not even using.

So does anyone have any details?
Also do you have to consume your drinks right there or can you carry them to dinner etc. can our 7 year daughter enter that room with us?

A Grand Suite !!! Lucky Shelby, you can have drinks before dinner, they have limited hours with a little hors d'oeuvres too, check your cruise compass for times each day. The concierge can be very helpful booking Chops or Portofino's, and the ice skating show tickets. Sometimes the club is very busy, and it is a reunion each night, and sometimes just a few use this perk.

Yeah, I'm psyched. Hubby surprised me with the upgrade for my birthday. Wehave always stayed in interior , cheapest room...rooms. The first time there were 5 of us in the smallest cabin. So this will be a nice upgrade. I know some balcony rooms have partial obstructions. Does anyone know how you find out if your room has a lovely view of a lifeboat?

The Concierge Club has drinks from 5pm to 8:30pm every night. Adults only, are allowed in the lounge during those hours. You can have wine, beer, mixed drinks, and soda. Some Concierges will allow you to take a drink with you to dinner, but the seldom is true because the glasses should stay in the lounge. If I have an unfinished drink I put it in a plastic cup. You will have access to the lounge with your keycard. You'll be able to check out movies there also. Have a drink for me...

hi sonny, i just got back from the freedom 2 weeks ago,i had a nice cruise i was with my 4 girl friends. great weather,but the concieige club was a little boaring not like the liberty when we were on that cruise with you. there were only 14 diamond members that used the room no one was friendly. juan was the conciege on that ship never talked to me at all i only used the room like 4 times because it wasnt to friendly there were 40 diamond members on our sailing but no one was ever there!you and esther were so friendly on the liberty it was more fun!i rebooked my cruise on borad for the liberty for next year and got the on board credit 9-27-2007.shows were great on freedom all my tours were great and food always good.hi esther! janice

With the concierge club so small, the people and the concierge can make the place. Very nice compliments for the concierge from other folks just coming off the Enchantment, his name was Julian and even entertained them with his own Karioke the last night. Can't wait...8 days!!

I always keep a bottle of wine (or two) at the Champagne Bar, better people watching, and later nights....

lol...my nickname is Queenie...lot's of princesses around me....and crusiing is my thing...so queenofcruzin it is....and if I am Queen then definitely you are a King ! The party seems to go on wherever you are....does Julian look like a Denzel ???
