Just returned from Mariner of the Seas. She is a beauty. Our waiter Greg from Jamaica was outstanding, by the third night he ordered for me since I was running late. I must say after looking at the menu, he ordered exactly what I would have wanted. I do not need to say that he was great. Oh, if anyone has not tried the lemon weekend, you should.
We were eating lunch in the main dinning and were discussing dessert with the waiter. Greg walked by and overheard us talking and recommended this dessert. It was not on the menu, but our waiter was able to order it with ice cream on the side. To put it into perspective, it's like a melting chocalate cake except that it has a lemon flavor.
I have began my count down to Freedom in Sept. Talk about post-cruise depression, this past cruise was nothing but excellent. My only complaint was that there was not kareoke for the second sitting. All of them were scheduled from 9-10pm.

Here are some pics of the zipline in Labeede. We paid $65.

Wow, Nica I didn't even know you were gone! I guess I'm slipping on keeping up with the goings and comings.

Sounds like you had a blast. Very nice pictures of the zipline. Does it seem like you are going right into the bay?

When you are at the top, they tell you that you can go three ways depending on wind conditions: Torpedo, regular, or spread out. Also you go on a different line depending on weight and heigth:lighter to the left heavy to the right.
I cheated a little and was told to go regular, but went torpedo after the first 100meters. Needless to say, I cought up with the guy who went before me on the prior line to my left. I have a video on my camera of 3/4 of the voyage. I cut it short because I was afraid that I would drop the camera while stopping abruptly at the end, so I had to secure the camera. To answer your question, it never appeared that you will go into the water but it makes you feel like you would skim it. It depends on the speed you're going. I had to let go with both hands to hold my camera and I started going sideways for a short while. I sure did enjoy it. I still think it may have been a little expensive but still worth it.

Welcome back Nica, the best cure for the debarkation blues is booking your next cruise. I'm glad to see by your ticker that you've already done that. Those were awesome pictures and I must say your more brave than I am. I am extremely acrophobic and would not attempt it, but my hubby would. I hope SonnyV will take some pictures as well. It looks like fun! Best wishes!

Sonny,
You are in a race against time. I think is a great idea 40th anniversary aboard your 40th cruise. Let me know how you like Princess Caribbean. Right now, I have found my niche with RCI. I guess I will continue booking RCI until I get to be a diamond member. Maybe for short cruises and certain iteniary, I may sail Carnival again. I much rather be in RCI but you are limited to the places you visit.

Berick,
It is not as bad as it looks like. My biggest fear was dropping the camera. I video it going down but stopped it too soon (the last bouey seen). After that point, you slow down some. I could have video a few more seconds, but I was putting the camera at harm. By doing that, I'll be putting my flesh at harm. The wife is kind of possesive of her camera and pictures.
