Hi, on both the Voyager and the Freedom they had a pizza parlor that was open - I think - from noon till 2 am in the morning. They had various pizza, everything tasted quite well and it was for free. Donīt know if that is still true.

I haven't been on the Grandeur for a long time, but I don't hear many praises about her. I try to just book the newer ships. I'll be on the Independence the same time you're on the Grandeur. I know there's pizza on the Independence. I really hope you have a great cruise, with lots and lots of pizza.

Sonny

You should have stuck to Carnival. You can't beat Carnival's Pizza. And its open 24 hours...

(Just a dig a Sonny.... surely Royal C can make a decent pizza as well..)

The Grandeur does not have a Sorrento's Pizza stand. However there is an out of the way snack bar in the Solarium which serves pizza along with the burgers and hot dogs. Unfortunately I think you should expect the quality to be more akin to frozen pizza. On the Rhapsody last summer all they had was a glassed-in warming rack that sometimes had a pepperoni pizza sitting in it. Rhapsody is a sister ship of the Grandeur. I didn't ask them, but I assume they will make a pizza for you.

Sorry to break the bad news.

The Voyager of the Seas had the BEST pizza of any ship I've been on.....couldn't keep my lips off of the sausage pizza.....The Carnival Spirit had limpy pizza....Happy cruising and pizza eating...

Like Sonny the Guru, I am a RCCL fan and leave on the Grandeur 2-2,but I like the smaller ships, as you you can see by my ship summary. Not a late night eater, but I agree Carnival makes better pizza. Never went into the Sorrento on AOS, get enough good and bad pizza at home. I promise to leave the ship in great shape. Taking my Mom on her 2nd cruise, Enchantment last year, and she wasn't that keen on the specialty restaurant, and I love them. But this is her trip, my first time at early seating too. Countdown is in my head ......

Probably because their crust is like that cardboard Scandinavian flat bread you people in Minnesota like so much.
