Don a raincoat and go on with your plans. I found some really inexpensive ponchos in Wal-Mart in their sporting goods section. They are clear plastic, and before unpacking them measure 4x6x1/2", they weight about 3 ozs. Usually, the rain doesn't last more than 30 minutes at a time, it's not cold--so go ahead and do what you desire. My husband and I usually go on snorkeling excursions, so we're wet already. Last year in Trinidad it rained much of the day, we went to the Botanical gardens and a tour of the Angostura factory. In Curacoa, we did cancel our snorkeling trip because it was lightning, but we went shopping in the rain. It wasn't bad at all. Enjoy your cruise and I hope the rain will stay away!!
